Consultation Services

We listen to the client's needs and issues, discuss these fully with the client and then create a bespoke solution designed to satisfy the client's needs. Often we will suggest a range of opportunities for the client to use to progress forwards

Strategy Development

Our strategy development work falls into two categories. We can either facilitate you to develop your strategy, or we can develop the strategy ourselves to your requirements.

When facilitating strategy development, our role is to facilitate: we see this as a mixture of coaching, supporting and enabling. We can organise and host group discussions, conduct interviews and bring together the information required to develop a strategy. We are happy to write the strategy based upon your needs and requirements.

In these situations, we will completely prepare the strategy for you. We take over the responsibility for developing the strategy according to your requirements. We use many of the facilitative processes described above, but will also conduct both qualitative and quantitative research as required.

We can benchmark strategies against other areas or organisations and we can bring in examples of best practice from around the UK and overseas.

We often work in a ‘progressive’ manner whereby we will create and present a draft strategy that we then continue to develop once feedback has been gained from the client and through other relevant stakeholders through consultation.

Examples

Two recent strategies that we have developed include:

• Learner Engagement Strategy for providers of Adult & Community Learning.
Client: This is a national strategy for the Learning & Skills Improvement Service (LSIS).

• 14-19 Employer Engagement Strategy
Client: A major local authority

Project Development

We are able to offer a range of specialist services to organisations to support their requirements. All these projects relate to our core services of coaching and development and a selection of recent projects are described below.

People Development

We are happy to provide tailored training programmes in a range of subjects relating to personal and professional development. Typically, these might include:

• Assertiveness
• Communication skills
• Developing Emotional Intelligence
• Handling difficult situations
• Letter & report writing
• Introduction to sales
• Team building
• Presentation skills
• Facilitating groups

These programmes can be delivered in a 1:1 format or with a group of delegates. The programmes can also be co-written and co-delivered with your internal learning and development consultants. Tailored programmes enable you provide flexible learning at the work place and sessions can be delivered in bite-size chunks typically 2.5 hours of learning in one morning or afternoon. The skills learned can then be transferred back into the business straight away.

We are still taking booking for the Institute of Leadership and Management (ILM) Level 7 Certificate in Executive Coaching and Leadership Mentoring Qualification. This is a postgraduate-level course delivered over four modules:
