Meet the coaching team

Our coaches are selected for their ability to work with individuals from a wide range of businesses. All coaches have significant business experience, together with a strong capability to work with people and to help them discover more of their potential.

 

Keith Nelson

Since setting up the business, Keith has supported a broad range of individuals and organisations in the areas of coaching and leadership development. He works with major organisations from both the private and public sectors.

Keith’s approach with organisations today is based upon a combination of solid business understanding combined with leading edge development interventions.

This work has included the creation of such tools as 360 degree feedbacks, and competency development.

A published author, Keith produced a human resources toolkit called Skills for Business: People Management. It can be found on the Periodical Publishers’ Association website, www.ppa.co.uk.

Previously Keith was Director of Coaching & Development for Emap, the media company. He is married with two young children.

David Newman

David has had a long and very broad career primarily in the Banking and Financial Services area. David has a record of managing a number of successfully motivated teams, latterly, in the areas of Training Management and Business Development.

Knowledge and experience in these areas led to his being appointed as Chair of Examination Committees for the Securities Institute, the industry-governing body. David is also an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Bankers.

David holds a strong belief that ‘people matter’ in business and that staff are a company’s most valuable resource. He is particularly passionate about management and leadership training which is an area often neglected in some companies. He also believes that helping to development staff by individual coaching is of positive value not only for the future of the person concerned but also for the company itself.

David is married with two children and is very involved in fund-raising activities for the local community as well as working with the local boys’ football club and local schools.

Carrie Roberts

Carrie has a broad background in learning and development, and was formerly Head of Student Services and Senior Lecturer in Counselling at Huntingdonshire Regional College.

In these and other roles, Carrie has worked with a broad range of organisations, both public and private.

Carrie is an Accredited Skills Trainer with the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy. She has a range of relevant qualifications which include a Certficate in Supervision, Diploma in Counselling, Certificate in Education, a Certificate in Personal Learning Coaching, and Managing for Change.

Carrie focuses on building strong relationships with her clients and is astute at working with them to help them to achieve their full potential.

Kate Jennings

Kate's background is in a major blue chip company where she worked for many years as a manager and consultant representing the company to its biggest clients - some of the UK's largest brand-names. After a spell away from the company she was asked to return as part of a team leading a new site development for a major client.

Since having children Kate has worked widely in a range of coaching, facilitating and mentoring roles. Her particular passion is to enable individuals to increase effectiveness in all areas of their lives through personal development. She brings a warm and enabling approach to the way she works with groups and individuals.

Kate is married with 2 children and enjoys sport and following football.

Charlotte Wolfe

Charlotte brings to the role of business coach over 15 years' experience working in sales, predominantly advertising and media. Prior to her role as a full-time coach she was Director for a FTSE 100 media company where her area of expertise focused on coaching and developing sales directors, managers and teams to deliver higher levels of performance.

In today's competitive market place, selling is more challenging and requires a greater level of skill than ever before. Charlotte believes that sales professionals are under increased pressure to deliver continuously higher levels of performance, often in shorter periods of time. Her approach is performance-focused and Charlotte believes that success extends beyond achieving results to include personal flexibility, resilience etc.

Charlotte is a qualified coach with Postgraduate Diplomas in Executive Coaching & Coaching Psychology, gained from Leeds Metropolitan University.
