Programme content

The comprehensive programme includes inspiration, insight and information to make it a successful, rewarding, highly valuable and often transformational experience:

  • Advanced executive coaching and leadership mentoring practices.
  • High level listening and questioning skills.
  • Working effectively with different ethics, values and belief systems.
  • Supporting the growth of leadership capability.
  • Diagnosis, reflection and planning to constantly develop one’s own skills, knowledge, attitudes and beliefs.
  • Active engagement in peer coaching and mentoring.

Programme details

The Certificate comprises of 3 mandatory units.  The programme is run over 4 months with 7 days of guided learning, practical exercises and ongoing tutorial support.

For assessment delegates produce a work-based assignment, a reflective review and reflective coaching diary.

Units are: a critical review of the role of leadership mentor or executive coach in developing leadership performance; critical review ones own ability to perform effectively as a leadership mentor or executive coach; undertake leadership mentoring or executive coaching.

Programme approach

The environment is one where individuals feel free to explore, discuss, practice and reflect on (sometimes complex), thoughts and actions safely, privately, confidentially and with confidence in their coach trainer.

Programme leader

Charlotte, Training & Coaching Director of Your Total Coach, is qualified in coaching and coaching psychology and passionate about helping people develop the skills, confidence and competence to practice and excel as coaches.  She has coached directors, sales managers and first line managers across a range of subjects including career change, emotional intelligence, leadership development and influencing skills.
