Launch of new Equality & Diversity Coaching Training programme - this innovative programme reflects key issues facing companies and individuals in public, private and third sector organisations.
Introduction
Inclusion, equality and diversity has never been so important as it is in today’s world of work. The workforce is increasingly diverse and maximising this diversity can enable organisations to achieve better results – and achieve a competitive edge. At the same time, the new Single Equality Act is placing new responsibilities upon employers.

Course objectives
The programme combines three major objectives:
Understand and extend individual and organisation’s commitment to equality and diversity
Understand the enhance the application of equality and diversity
Understand and work effectively with the needs of others in the area of equality and diversity

About the Programme
The programme will consist of both the underpinning knowledge for equality and diversity and the skills required to be able to apply equality and diversity to contribute to a truly inclusive culture.
The programme will introduce coaching as an approach to help participants to enhance equality and diversity within their organisation. This coaching approach includes emotional intelligence, given that it covers feelings, motivations, personal values, respect and integrity.
Assessment
To gain the Level 6 Award in Leading Equality and Diversity participants will be required to complete, to a satisfactory standard, an assessment
