Leadership Development - Level 3

ILM Level 3 Qualifications in Leadership

The ILM Level 3 Award in Leadership and ILM Level 3 Certificate in Leadership have been designed to give practising or aspiring first line managers a solid foundation for their formal development as a leader.

The Award is a concise qualification designed to give candidates an understanding of leadership through two mandatory units. Unit one ‘Introduction to Leadership’ explores different leadership styles and behaviours and their impact on individual and group behaviour. The second mandatory unit, ‘Leading a team effectively’, looks at motivating and developing teams.

The Certificate builds and broadens the understanding gained in the Award.
