Leadership Development - Level 5

ILM Level 5 Qualifications in Leadership.

The ILM Level 5 Award in Leadership and ILM Level 5 Certificate in Leadership have been designed for practising or potential middle managers looking to develop an understanding of their own leadership capability.

The Award is a concise qualification made up of one mandatory unit, ‘Assessing your own leadership capability and performance’. Participants review the prevailing leadership style in their organisation and the motivation and commitment their team have towards the organisation’s goals and values.

The Certificate builds on the understanding gained in the Award using action learning as tool for leadership development and broadens the understanding gained in the Award.

Award

Duration: Minimum 20 Guided learning hours (4 days).
To be completed within: One year.
Induction: One hour.
Tutorial support: At least four hours.
Structure: One mandatory units.
Assessment – mandatory units: Reflective Review.

 

Certificate

Duration: Minimum 60 Guided learning hours.
To be completed within: Two years.
Induction: Two hours.
Tutorial support: At least seven hours.
Structure: Two mandatory units.
Assessment – mandatory units: Reflective Review, plus Leadership development plan and reflective log.

We are still taking booking for the Institute of Leadership and Management (ILM) Level 7 Certificate in Executive Coaching and Leadership Mentoring Qualification. This is a postgraduate-level course delivered over four modules:  

2012 dates: March 20-21, May 9-10, June 19-20 and July 11
