Management Training - Level 3

ILM Level 3 Qualifications in First Line Management

The ILM Level 3 Award in First Line Management aims to give practising or potential first line managers the foundation for their formal development in this role. The qualification does this by developing basic management skills and assisting participants in gaining the basic knowledge required at this level.

The ILM Level 3 Certificate in First Line Management aims to build on the ILM Level 3 Award on First Line Management, and broadens the skills and knowledge in a flexible and practical way. Candidates are not required to undertake the Award as a pre-requisite and may join the Certificate programmes directly.

Entry Requirements
There are no formal entry requirements, but participants will:

•    Normally be either practising or aspiring first line managers with the opportunity to meet the assessment demands.
•    Have a background that is likely to benefit them from the programme – which is likely to be a Level 2 Key Skills Literacy and Numeracy or their equivalent.

Progression

Successful candidates may benefit from career enhancement and / or progress to any of the further qualifications listed:

Level 3 Award in First Line Management Level 3 Certificate in First Line Management Level 3 Diploma in First Line Management
•    Level 3 Certificate or Diploma in First Line Management.
•    L3 S/NVQ in Management.
•    L4 Award in Management.  
•    L3 Diploma in First Line Management.
•    L3 S/NVQ in Management.
•    L4 Award in Management.
•    L3 S/NVQ in Management.
•    L4 Award in Management.
•    Level 5 Award, certificate or Diploma in Management.

We are still taking booking for the Institute of Leadership and Management (ILM) Level 7 Certificate in Executive Coaching and Leadership Mentoring Qualification. This is a postgraduate-level course delivered over four modules:  

2012 dates: March 20-21, May 9-10, June 19-20 and July 11
